Fireside Presents: Manchester Muse on 4/18
The library will host Fireside Presents: Manchester Muse in celebration of National Poetry Month on April 18, from 2:30 to 4:30 pm in the Library's Fireside Commons. The program will showcase the talented students of Professors Jeanine DeRusha and Carolina Flores, as well as a trio, Apennine Spine, featuring poet and Manchester campus staff, Stephen Campiglio. Professor DeRusha will also be reading. The event is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served.
The Common Read
The Manchester Common Read is a program that recognizes the diversity of thought and experience on campus and brings the community together by creating a common ground for discussion and connection. Read about this year's selection, Notes from a Young Black Chef: A Memoir by Kwame Onwuachi and Joshua David Stein.

This guide was created by Prof. Gina Ocasion and Debbie Herman to empower students, faculty and staff to learn and research the historical, political, and cultural context of recent events in Gaza and Israel. In addition to suggested readings and films, it includes a section for educators as well as links to campus supports.
