Favorites are designed for users to tag certain videos and/or segments for later use by themselves, while Playlists are designed for users to combine segments from different videos into one sharable URL.

What you can do with videos:

Organize and store them into personal folders - you must create a user account. Click on Create an Account at the top right-hand corner of the page.

Share videos and Create Custom Playlists - to create playlists you must create a user account.
