- Locate specific items/locations in the MCC Library [Library skills]
- Seek the assistance of a librarian either face to face, via telephone, via chat 24/7, or via e-mail [Library skills]
- Find a book or DVD in the MCC Library using the MCC Library Catalog [Searching as strategic exploration]
- Check-out a book at the MCC Library Circulation Desk [Library skills]
- Evaluate information on the web for currency, objectivity, authority and reputation [Authority is constructed and contextual]
- Locate articles from research databases through the MCC Library website [Searching as strategic exploration]
- Find MLA citations from articles retrieved from research databases [Information has value]
